We built Source Local because great local producers kept going undiscovered. Farmers, bakers, beekeepers, artisans, handcrafters doing remarkable work that most people in their community had never heard of.
We started in Comox Valley, BC, watching farmers, bakers, beekeepers, and artisans do work their community would have loved. If only they knew it existed.
Most were relying on markets, word of mouth, and social media posts that disappeared too quickly to matter.
But discovery was never the point of social media. Attention was.
Local producers don't need more attention.
They need to be found.
